So, after a night where we got a 3% wipe, and then the next night of progression getting another 3% wipe...twice, and a 2%...

Screw you obnoxious robot, you're finally DEAD. /rant
So now, Lei shen awaits. Prepare well team, the end of the tier is soon. Good job killing this guy.

5.3 is upon us, and <Fate> continues where it left off the previous weeks, by killing another new boss!
This time, it was the eyeball that was poked to death. After an extremely close call on Thursday (which was so close that we just knew it would be down Sunday), we now stand 10/13H on the first week of 5.3. Good job everyone.

On the last raid day of the week after dispatching Iron Qon for the 2nd time on heroic, we had time to attempt the twin consorts on heroic.
After a few attempts....
-screenshot to come-
We kicked their rear ends and now stand (as of this post) proudly on 9/13H. Very good, strong effort from all members of the roster, keep pressing on, for the journey is only going to get more interesting from now.5.3 is upon us, and <Fate> will push harder to the end of this tier strongly. Keep up the good work team!

Apparently there are still some people who don't read our recruitment profile before applying so I'm going to post it here. While it is true we will always welcome exceptional players with open arms, it's not going to cut it if your ilvl and experience is less than adequate to help us in our current progression. As we're now 9/13H, we cannot afford to bring trials with zero heroic experience and not having enough gear to help us down farm bosses asap so we can focus on our next progression targets.
If you don't have normal mode cleared and at least 515-520 ilvl, it's going to look bad. We are not a hardcore guild but we don't do charity here. Gear isn't everything, sure, but it defines your seriousness to raid with us. Are you the kind of person who expects the guild to get you raid ready? Or are you going to do something about it yourself? Which one would give you a better impression?
To sum it up, if you want us to look at your app seriously:
- Make sure the character you're applying for is RAID READY. 515ilvl is the minimum requirement.
- Have normal mode cleared.
- WoL is mandatory.
There are ways to get around this if we know who you are and what you're capable of doing, or you can just write a million word essay to convince us.

Primordius and his puddings : We knew coming in that this would be a test for all departments , tanks, healers and dps alike.
And after spending 1 hour on our first night (8 attempts after a restart on Thurs), and about 1 and a half hours further tonight...We have Primordius heroic in the bag!
Good job everyone! 8/13H and moving on up!
<Fate> is always looking for great players regardless of class availability. Look for any of our officers for a chat !

On what was to be a day to honor thy mother on a beautiful Mother's day, <Fate>'s raiders finished up their mother's day dinners and arrived ready to cook the iron chef and his 3 quillen dogs.

And...yeah, we were successful..! Good job guys. (note the presence of the fat santa panda again).
More bosses to come for us !Silfury's PoV

On this night, took on the four trolls and after some outstanding work by our healers (great job team), emerged victorious.
Bolstered by new recruits, all of whom have strengthened all departments of our team, we have now defeated the first 6 heroics of the tier.

A big thank you to everyone involved, whether in the kill or on the bench, your contributions to the bigger picture will always be acknowledged.
Keep at it guys, just 7 more to go.

Ji-kun... was she part korean, or just a clever pun on the word chicken?
Whatever the answer was, all <Fate> wanted was to eat KFC, and that was exactly what we did.

The angry bird will caw no more. Good job ladies and gentlemen for a job well done on our first night of attempts which ended with us claiming our 5th heroic kill of the tier.
Keep up the good work!
*update* Courtesy of Aeymo again, we have a kill vid.
<Fate>, always recruiting top quality players regardless of current needs. If you think you can improve what we have already, we're listening. Apply today!

A few days overdue.... we already got a repeat kill of the snakes just a few hours ago (2nd kill), but here's the first kill shot.
<Fate> slays the snake heads of Megaera (we chopped them off and stomped on them). Good job to everyone for dodging ice beamz of doom and healing through this brutal fight.

We also have a video courtesy of our chief hunter Aeymo.
<Fate> always on the lookout for exceptional players of all varieties. All raid spots always up for grabs (if you've got the quality, we've got the goods).
Look for any officer for more information!
-

All I can say is good work to everyone for maintaining their concentration levels to achieve this kill.
Special thanks to Kron for a very good performance.
Also a thanks to Rexzis for making this killshot.
Tortos has been slain, and now he looks like this :

Let's keep up the momentum and get more heroic kills guys!
P.s. We're still looking for more (always are!) so if you want in on our turtle soup parties , apply today! (or look for any officer for more info)
-

So after lots of practice and troll killing, <Fate> kills this boss (an overdue kill) on the first attempt tonight. Good work guys! Onto the big fat tortoise!
And now for some overdue stuff - Easy boss kills that were killed weeks ago.

One night of fail, followed by one night of Mitsunagging, and it was dead that very night. Easy boss is easy.

And then we have Lei Shen 25, yes, we got it on 10m the second week of 5.2 and I am not proud of that fact, but whatever, good job anyway because we got it on 25m thereafter ! YOLO!
<Fate> is always looking for exceptional players! Apply today! (or look for our officers in game for more information)

With the first day of 5.2 and Tier 15 out of the way, I would like to say good job to all raiders in the guild.
We killed 4 bosses in around 2 and a half hours which is pretty good (before restart ), but this is no time to be proud of ourselves just yet.
This is only just the beginning.
We have more bosses to kill and we need to keep the momentum up ! WORK HARD, STUDY HARD and reap the reward
Please study and know mechanics of the next bosses that stand in the way of our foray into Heroics! With all of your hard work, Team <Fate> will continue to roll on strongly and we will continue to make our presence known.
So with that I say, good work on Day one, Keep on rolling, and I will see you guys tomorrow.

With Mogu, Mantids and Fishmen/dargon/hiding mofos and Shas behind us, we now face a new tier with new challenges.
I urge each and every rostered raider to please do your homework. That's right, RESEARCH all the boss information out there all over the net.
LEARN the changes that your respective classes have undergone.
UPDATE your mods and CONFIGURE your UI BEFORE raid.
To encourage you all more, here is a cute cat for you guys. DO IT FOR THE KITTY.
SEE YOU ALL AT RAID!

On what is likely to be the final raiding night of Tier 14 content, <Fate> slays this two faced douchebag dargon Tsulong on heroic, taking our final results for the tier to 15/16H, and cementing server 2nd 25m on Frostmourne.

Good job to everyone, from the ones who were here since the formation of the guild, to the ones who joined us along the way, I thank you all for your hard work, good efforts and continued contribution!
Onward to 5.2 where we will continue to grow in strength and maintain good results!
-
After cutting some mantid heads, <Fate> decided to pay a visit to our friendly fishy friends in terrace.
Not long after first acquainting ourselves with them and their Sha buddies.. this is the result....

Good job team. We are 14/16H, well deserved.
Onward to the next target : A traditional "dargon" boss.
<Fate> is always on the lookout for strong, committed and capable raiders of all varieties.
Apply now! (or if you get some queue processor error, just look for any of our officers in game! )
-

So after numerous close calls , <Fate> clears Heart of Fear on this day.
Special thanks to our amazing healers for an awesome job well done, as well as everyone who was a part of our progression attempts.
Good work team!
We are now 13/16H. With 5.2 on the horizon, we have 2 edges cut and we're moving forward strongly. Keep up the good work guys and gals.
<Fate> is always looking for exceptional players regardless of roster status, so keep those apps coming! (or look for any of our friendly officers)

Overdue, Overdue, Overdue.
Yes, It's been a while since I've updated. We are indeed 12/16H now.
Heroic Will giving us Delver. That's one (screenshot was a butchered pos because people ported to TOES very quickly after kill lol).
Heroic Vizier was down next.

Yes, not the best, but whatever im not the imagey, screenshot kinda guy.
Video of that fight is available also (new trials please watch)
And our latest kill, that bloody mantid called Amber Shaper Un'sok heroic, on 4th Feb (overdue as hell imo).
Good job to all, the Fate train (no pun intended) is still rolling on. Keep it going guys.

Two weeks ago on the 8th, some very lucky members of the guild were invited by Blizzard to showcase the Mist of Pandaria expansion at the 4th ever Licence2Play 2012.
Although the highlights of the event included the soon-to-be released Starcraft II expansion (Heart of the Swarm) and Wargaming.net's World of Tanks, we still gave a pretty decent demonstration of some of the content in this current expansion in front of a decently large audience.
All in all, we felt quite honoured to continue to be recognized by Blizzard as Singapore's top World of Warcraft guild, and I personally hope this would further raise awareness of not only the game itself, but also to garner more interest in this game from players in our region.
Also, special thanks to all the friends who came down that day to watch and support us - you guys know who you are!
There were many pictures and videos taken that day (or at least it felt like there was!), so hopefully I'll be updating this post with more pictures in due time.

THE SCREEN! This was our pally healer's (Msmf) point-of-view.

THE PLAYERS! (L to R): Narujoa (DPS Warrior, but was tanking for the day), Vexi (Overgeared Rogue), Taeyeonqtpie (Most awesome and yandao mage you'll ever meet), Epp (Retired Hunter, PST for insurance), Msmf (Lovesick PVE superstar). Also special mention to the host on stage (Leonardomonk) who was commenting about our runs and the game in general - keeping the audience entertained for such a long time was quite challenging I must say.

"LOOK MA, I'M ON TV!" Not sure what I was so intruiged at. Maybe at the mess of Msmf's UI. I think more importantly, this cameraman needs to make sure I get the memo everytime a picture is about to be taken I reckon.

THE PLAYERS... REARRANGED. Obviously the mage is practicing IRL blinking so you can't really see him clearly here, but the four other handsome nerds (Vexi, Msmf, Epp, Narujoa) look quite serious don't you think?

Leonardomonk being trolled introduced by the Blizzard Emcee.
Happy nerds are happy. Yes, those are MOP CEs. We also got an assortment of other blizzard goodies - D3 CE, Blizzcon Pet Codes, etc. Not bad for a few hours work!

This guy's name escapes me for now. If i remember correctly, he's some relative bigshot at blizzard. Msmf's new best friend clearly.

Finally we actually remembered to take a screenshot of this.

Grats to everyone who contributed in some way or another to this kill.
P.s. H Wind Lord also down...2 weeks ago...with no screenshot taken as usual lawl.
BUT.........
We present...

Our screenshotless boss, with sexy voice of Hwh.
Special thanks to Frost (Narujoa) for providing the footage.
Keep it going guys!

Finally getting round to putting this up.
No, we did not take a screenshot...again lol
-
Overdue video but, grats to every single raider on the roster for your efforts.
Special thanks to Starshardzz.

Until I manage to find a decent screenshot ...
Yes, a job well done to everyone for killing H Stone Guards on Wed , and H Feng a day later.
Everyone played a part in this, including those on standby - We thank you as well.
Keep up the good work everyone.

And so, September 25th has come and gone, and what an eventful past few days it has been.
Personally speaking, the levelling experience has always been a pain for me. Competing with others for quest mobs, the dungeon grinding of early levels and being stuck on the gyrocopter of doom (many of you will know what im talking about) aside however, I must say that Pandaria is beautiful, a very well done piece of work by Blizzard.
Dungeon mechanics have come a long way since Vanilla, and I am excited to see the raids first hand in a week's time. Another positive note is that my fellow guildies in <Fate> have surpassed my expectations already ; so many of them are level 90 and busy doing heroics to gear up with our first raid day looming closer and closer. This is very encouraging indeed and bodes well for the future of the guild. It looks very likely that we are on track on achieving our goals, and starting raid on this coming Wed.
Notably, three of our veteran raiders have achieved the following results during the mad scramble for realm firsts. (prior to transferring over to Frostmourne. They had to remain on their servers to be eligible for these.)
Limetea (now Yoshixo) - Realm first level 90 character ( On Blackrock )
Krondormi - Realm first level 90 Deathknight (Blackrock)
Riyomorii - Realm first level 90 Mage (Blackrock)
Congratulations to them!
<Fate> is, in the meantime, looking for more raiders! In particular, a strong HOLY paladin, as well as strong RESTO Druids to complement our existing lineup.
